We know there haven’t been a lot of updates over the last couple of months. We have been doing a lot of production work regarding our newest film "Empty" however work is still on going with this project. Ryan is now printer up all the DVD case, DVD labels, and DVD case inserts. Ramon completed the DVD menu system and Brandon almost has completed the video color and audio fix work. The goal is to have the film ready and done by the end of this month followed by a premiere.

Brandon met up with Kent, the behind the scenes guy, to pick up a rough copy of the behind the scenes video and to review notes. After the finial video for both the film and the behind the scenes have been fully completed the next step will be to put them together into a DVD with menu layout and set a premiere night.

Final editing has been completed for the film and sent off to Kyle for color re-mastering. We wanted to fine turn the color before sending it out to the film markets even though the 24p mode 16:9 looked great!

The month of May held the final filming and the final rough editing for the project. No major problems came up when editing this project due to the two months of planning that went into the Pre-Production before shooting began.
April 30, 2005
We started our first day of filming with the shot lists, filming scheduling, and all the equipment checked off for the whole day which made filming run like clockwork.
April 1, 2005
The month of April was shot lists time. Each scene had about 20 to 38 shots called out. We grouped like shots together with the camera starting close to the actors and then moving further outward in the scenes.

Casting and crew notices were posted on the web. We had a great turnout with more e-mails than we could handle. After reviewing each e-mail we picked our top 10 and started the phone interviews to hired our star cast and crew teams!

The idea started for "The Rewrite" when Brandon was sitting in his car drinking Star Bucks coffee watching rain drops run down his car window. He said that the drops running into one another reminded him of the way some people are willing to use others to get ahead in life which soon became the underline story for "The Rewrite".
